A Farewell from Handsfull Farm

After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close Handsfull Farm’s agritourism operations, including our overnight stays, events, and farm experiences. What began as a way to share our beautiful little corner of the Columbia Gorge grew into something much more meaningful. We have loved welcoming couples, families, wedding guests, travelers, and friends to experience the farm, the creek, the animals, and the peaceful place our family has been blessed to call home. Unfortunately, recent questions regarding county land-use requirements and the scope of access to our property have created significant legal, regulatory, and financial uncertainty around continuing commercial agritourism activities. While there may ultimately be paths available to address these issues, pursuing them would require substantial time, expense, and resources. After careful consideration, we have decided that the right choice for our family is to bring this chapter of Handsfull Farm to a close. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who stayed with us, celebrated a wedding or special occasion here, attended an event, visited the animals, shared a meal, or simply spent a peaceful evening beside the creek. You helped turn our family farm into a place filled with wonderful memories. While we are saddened to close this chapter, we are deeply thankful for the people we met and the experiences we were able to share.

Thank you for being part of Handsfull Farm.
